Lauryn Renze is an undergraduate laboratory assistant double-majoring in Biomedical Sciences and Ethics & Public Policy with a minor in Chemistry.

Lauryn has been a member of the laboratory since August 2021.

She is responsible for general lab cleaning, inventory management, human donor tissue collection, dissection, cryosectioning, histological staining, and ImageJ analysis.

In the 2023 Spring semester, Lauryn was recognized as the University of Iowa Student Employee of the Year in the Science, Health, & Engineering employment category.
